Deputy President of the State Audit Bureau Abdulaziz Mohamed al-Emadi participated in the 21st meeting of officials of the audit and accounting offices in the countries of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC), which was held Sunday via videoconferencing, QNA reports.
The meeting discussed many topics on the agenda, including the follow-up to the implementation of the decisions issued by the 16th meeting of the heads of audit and monitoring offices in the GCC countries, the memorandum of the General Secretariat on joint oversight, and the proposal to spread awareness and knowledge to exercise oversight over the goals of sustainable development, in addition to discussing topics of the GCC's fifth competition for research and studies in the field of oversight and accounting.
