New batch of Al Shafallah Center for Persons with Disabilities' Affiliates Graduate


Al Shafallah Center for Persons with Disabilities, a Qatar Social Work subordinate, has graduated the 2020 batch of the center's affiliates, who reached 53 graduates. 

In this context, Executive Director of Shafallah Center Laalei Abu Alfain expressed her happiness at the graduation of a new batch of Al Shafallah Center's affiliates, pointing out that their graduation is the fruit of continuous efforts between the center and parents to achieve the affiliates' integration into society in accordance with the strategic goals of Al Shafallah Center calling for providing assistance to them in order to obtain a more independent life.

Abu Alfain also pointed out that over the past years, Al Shafallah Center played a pioneering role in providing specialized services for people with intellectual disability and autism, adding that the center has sought to provide specialized education, rehabilitation, therapeutic and psychological services that are comparable to the services provided in the leading international centers in this field, as well as their competition.

It is worth mentioning that Al Shafallah Center provides exemplary services to people with mental disabilities and autism who are under the age of 21 years, in the fields of education and rehabilitation, as well as community awareness of their issues and rights in order for them to have a more independent life, and to maximize their integration into society.
