Partial closure on Al Oyoun Street

The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) yesterday announced a partial closure on Al Oyoun Street by reducing the number of lanes from two to one in both directions for two months. The closure in co-ordination with the General Directorate of Traffic is to to enable the upgrade of Al Oyoun Street as part of Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor project. During the closure, the traffic signal linking the New Al Hatim Street with Al Oyoun Street will be partially closed and road users will not be able to turn left from the New Al Hatim Street. Instead, they have to continue straight and make a U-Turn to reach their destinations. Road users on Al Oyoun Street heading towards Al Shamal Road will have to turn right at the closed traffic signal to reach their destinations.
