The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced a four-day closure on part of Gharrafat Al Rayyan Street towards Dukhan from Thursday. The closure that will be implemented in co-ordination with the General Directorate of Traffic has been announced in order to enable the surface water drainage network upgrade as part of Khalifa Avenue Project. Road users on Gharrafat Al Rayyan Street heading towards Dukhan will be diverted to local roads and Bani Hajer Interchange exit towards Dukhan as shown in the map.
Ashghal will install road signs advising motorists of the closure, and it has requested all to abide by the speed limit to ensure their safety.
