Elite Paper Recycling, Zulal Wellness Resort sign MoU


Elite Paper Recycling (EPR) and Zulal Wellness Resort have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to mark their joint efforts for a more sustainable environment.  
The MoU was by signed by EPR communications adviser Catina Aghayan and Zulal Wellness Resort general manager Daniele Vastolo, in the presence of EPR chairman Abdullah Ibrahim al-Suwaidi.
In a statement, EPR said the agreement marks one of the first steps towards waste management based on the mutual aim of spreading awareness in the field of environmental sustainability and recycling amongst the community.
Vastolo said: “It is a pleasure to be at this signing ceremony today, cementing Zulal Wellness Resort’s commitment towards a more sustainable environment. Since the inception of our philosophy, we continue believing that personal wellness goes hand-in-hand with environmental wellness. 
“Recycling is one of the first steps towards reducing our carbon footprint, protecting our environment, and enriching our wellness for years to come. We aim to involve our partners and the community in our sustainability initiatives and continue to recognise our responsibility in preserving our destination, as well as our contribution towards securing a greener future for the upcoming generations.” 
Al-Suwaidi also said: “We are very happy to sign this partnership with Zulal Wellness Resort. We are also keen on uniting efforts and exchanging services. During the first step, we will provide Zulal Wellness Resort with carton containers designed to throw paper waste and raise awareness regarding paper recycling. This is in line with the Qatar National Vision 2030, and there will be many, future cooperation between EPR and the resort, especially green initiatives on various levels.”
Aghayan added: “We are thrilled to spark a partnership with a one-of-a-kind resort in Qatar that has wellness and sustainability as part of its core visions. We endeavour to build awareness and contribute to the development of a better quality of life and harmony with nature through waste management and recycling.”
