HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs Dr Khalid bin Mohamed al Attiyah paid a visit to one of the Qatar Armed Forces' units receiving training in the US State of West Virginia.
These forces are in the United States within the framework of military co-operation between the two friendly countries, which has witnessed clear progress in recent years, in an effort to ensure international peace and security and to combat terrorism.
His Excellency was accompanied during the visit by Qatar's Ambassador to the United States Sheikh Meshal bin Hamad all-Thani and Qatari military attache in Washington, Brigadier General Nawaf bin Mubarak al-Thani.
