The Public Works Authority on Saturday announced the opening of Duhali-Al Gharrafa bridge and parts of the traffic signal which form parts of the Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor project, six months ahead of the schedule.
The opening ceremony was attended by senior Ashghal officials including Eng. Yousef Abdulrahman Al Emadi, Projects Affairs Director and Badr Mohamed Darwish, Assistant Manager of Highway Projects Department.  It is expected that the new bridge will remarkably improve the traffic flow in the area and will ensure better connectivity between various areas including Duhail and Al Gharrafa.
Al- Emadi said that Ashghal is proud that the projects works are completed ahead of the schedule despite the Covid-19 pandemic and the unjust blockade imposed on Qatar by the neighbouring countries.
