The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announces a three-week closure on the Al Gharrafa underpass second ramp exit towards Al Gharrafa service road and Thani Bin Jassim Street.
Implemented in co-ordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, the closure will begin on August 2 and continue until August 21 to enable road enhancement works as part of the Khalifa Avenue Project, Ashghal has said.
During this traffic change, road users at the Al Gharrafa underpass heading towards Thani Bin Jassim Street will have to use the first exit ramp towards the signalised Tilted Interchange, as shown on the attached map.
The authority will install road signs advising motorists of the closure, and has requested all road users to abide by the existing speed limit and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
