The Ministry stated that the deaths recorded Wednesday were of patients aged 57, 58, 77, 85 and 93 years respectively. The Ministry extended its sincere condolences and great sympathy to the families of the deceased.

The Ministry said the new cases got infected by coming into contact with people previously infected and are identified by the continuous investigative and proactive testing by the Ministry.
The new confirmed cases of infection have been introduced to complete isolation in the various medical facilities in the country, where they receive the necessary healthcare according to the health status of each case, MoPH said.
The Ministry confirmed Qatar has succeeded in overcoming the peak stage of the virus outbreak, thanks to the measures including bans taken by the state to address it, in addition to the commitment of the community members to the recommendations and preventive instructions, the most important of them being social distancing, staying at home, and not going out except when it is absolutely necessary.
Anyone who has symptoms of Covid-19 should either quickly contact the 16000 helpline or go directly to one of the designated health centers for testing. This is important as the earlier the disease is detected the easier it will be to receive the right treatment and recover from it, MoPH reminded. The main screening centers include Muaither Health Centre, Rawdat Al Khail Health Centre, Umm Slal Health Centre and Al Gharafa Health Centre.
The Ministry reaffirmed the necessity for the elderly or those suffering from chronic diseases and their family members to follow strict methods and precautions to reduce the risk of infection for them and protect them from infection by refraining from social visits, wearing the mask and cleansing the hands while with them.
The Ministry stated the decision to implement the phased easing of restrictions that started on June 15 to last until September 1, was based on the analysis of extensive data and by conducting studies and taking into account the experiences of other countries which have succeeded in limiting the spread of the virus while gradually lifting the restrictions.
The Ministry urged all to continue to observing the preventive measures throughout the gradual lifting of restrictions as the failure to do so may lead to the return of the virus outbreak in the country.
The Ministry also reminded that lifting the restrictions gradually does not mean the disappearance of the Covid-19 pandemic. While implementing the gradual lifting plan, priorities were taken into consideration, taking full care to avoid the risks that may arise from the process of lifting and each stage of easing will be subjected to evaluation and review based on the spread of the virus, as the success of each stage depends on everyone’s commitment to following the required precautions.
The Ministry of Public Health also stressed that it is important to realize that all the precautionary measures that are taken primarily to maintain public health and to protect individuals from this virus, taking into account all other aspects of life, whether social or economic.
The Ministry also recommended visiting its website regularly to view the latest information and instructions related to Covid-19.?
