Lulu Hypermarkets Friday issued additional guidelines for shoppers further enhancing the already implemented social distancing policy.
In addition to the stipulation to maintain a distance of 2m between the customers, LuLu said it is discouraging over-the-counter buying of items. Customers instead can get pre-packed vegetables, fruits, roastery, cheese, meat, bakery item etc, which are newly introduced.
“We will take all measures to ensure the quality of vegetables so that customers can buy it with confidence and trus, ” said Mohamed Althaf, Director of Lulu Hypermarkets. He also added that, “from today onwards essential items will be made available in multiple locations of the store to avoid crowding up”.
The new guidelines will supplement the measures that were already implemented to ensure the health, safety and wellness of its customers and employees alike, LuLu expressed hope in a statement Friday.
