HMC announces new restrictions for visitors at all HMC Emergency departments

Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) has announced new restrictions for visitors at all HMC Emergency departments.

The move is aimed at limiting the spread of the novel coronavirus disease (Covid-19), HMC said in a tweet on Monday.

The new restrictions are as follows:

* Only one visitor at a time for a maximum if 15 minutes.

* Visitors are strictly prohibited in the Covid-19 treatment area.

‘These changes have been made in order to protect patients, visitors and the wider public from the spread of Covid-19,’ HMC stressed in a notice. ‘Thank you for your understanding.’
