Cabinet approves decision to specify real estate brokerage license fees


HE Prime Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al-Thani chaired the Cabinet regular meeting held at its seat at the Amiri Diwan on Wednesday.

Following the meeting, HE Minister of Justice and Acting Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Dr. Issa bin Saad Al Jafali Al Nuaimi stated that the Cabinet reviewed topics on its meeting's agenda as following:

-The Cabinet took the necessary measures to issue a draft law amending some provisions of Decree Law No. 17 of 2010 organising the National Human Rights Committee, after it reviewed the Shura Council's recommendation on the draft law.
 
-The Cabinet also approved a draft law on doping in the field of sport.

-The Ministry of Culture and Sports has prepared the draft law in the framework of upgrading the Qatari sports system in line with international standards, and taking the necessary measures to preserve the health of athletes and avoid harmful practices that violate respect for sport ethics, values and noble goals.

-The Cabinet approved the draft decision of the Minister of Justice to specify fees for issuing and renewing licenses to practice real estate brokerage and authorizing the practice of some real estate brokerage activities.

-It also approved the holding of the 5th session of the Qatari-Kazakhstan Joint Higher Committee in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

-Moreover, the Cabinet approved a draft air transport agreement between the government of the State of Qatar and the government of the Republic of Iraq, a draft memorandum of understanding to establish a mechanism for political consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Plurinational State of Bolivia, a draft memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the field of agriculture and food security between the Ministry of Municipal and Environment of the State of Qatar and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan, a draft declaration of common intent in the field of sustainable and smart cities between the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the State of Qatar, the Ministry of Ecological and Solidarity Transition of the French Republic, and the Ministry of Territorial Cohesion and Relations with Local Authorities of the French Republic, and a draft declaration of common intent in the field of digital cooperation between the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the State of Qatar, the Ministry of the Economy and Finance of the French Republic and the Ministry of Territorial Cohesion and Relations with Local Authorities of the French Republic.

After that, the Cabinet reviewed HE the Minister of Public Health's letter regarding the results of the 5th meeting of the 5th meeting of the GCC Health Ministers' Committee and the 82nd Conference Council of Ministers of Health of the GCC countries, and took the appropriate decision thereon.
