The State of Qatar and the Republic of Finland have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to establish political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries.
The first round of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the countries was held today in the Finnish capital of Helsinki.
The Qatari side was chaired by HE the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Ahmed bin Hassan Al Hammadi, while the Finnish side was headed by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Foreign and Security Policy Carrie Jurgen.
During the round of political consultations, the two sides reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries as well as issues of mutual interest.
